At Logitech we use Tableau to connect to our data in the same way consumers use our products to connect to the digital experiences they love. It allows us to be more creative, achieve more and enjoy ourselves in the process. In this talk we’ll cover some of the challenges we’ve seen for the adoption of self-service and share what we have been doing over the last few years to connect more people to the data they need. This includes some changes in how we allow users to connect to data, training programs we started and internal user groups we run.

    Slimmer opereren op basis van data die voorhanden is. Business Intelligence maakt het leven van heel wat organisaties een stuk eenvoudiger en overzichtelijker en is gebaat bij een goede IT-infrastructuur achter de schermen (of in de cloud).Veelgehoord is dat data het nieuwe goud is, maar strikt genomen is dat natuurlijk de informatie die BI-tools in heldere overzichten tonen. Heldere inzichten op basis van visueel aantrekkelijke rapportages of grafieken helpt bedrijven om creatiever te werken. Het stelt de gebruikers in staat om eigenhandig een beeld te vormen van verkopen, levertijden, potentiële en actuele bottlenecks én hierop actie te ondernemen. De Big Data Expo laat zien wat er vandaag de dag mogelijk is.
