GIOVANNI LANZANI

Giovanni, a doctor in Theoretical Physics by trade, is Chief Science Officer at GoDataDriven.
His focus is on productionizing data products and on training and honing the data driven workflows of GoDataDriven’s customers.
His knowledge ranges from the Hadoop ecosystem (he is in fact a certified Cloudera trainer for the Developer, Spark, Admin, and Analyst courses) to the Python ecosystem, with a little detour on functional land with Haskell and Erlang and on database land with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Giovanni regularly talks at conferences and other events, such as meetups, including PyData, NoSQL Matters, and Brighttalk.
He was Chair and is co-Chair of the PyData Amsterdam committee and the organizer of the PyData Amsterdam meetup
