Cross-entity Data Ecosystem Design and Governance: Securely Connecting the Semiconductor Industry

Covid-19 thrust the already precarious world of semiconductor manufacturing into the global spotlight. Today, the industry also faces booming demand, supply chain disruption, and geopolitical obstacles against a backdrop of increasing expectations for improved technical performance. In partnership with Palantir, German science and technology company Merck has been at the forefront of tackling these challenges. Together, the two organizations have created Athinia, a digital hub for the semiconductor sector.

This session will explore how Athinia adapted the native security and governance primitives in Palantir Foundry to enable collaboration between specialty material suppliers and their device makers. By taking a secure, integrated approach to data and analytics, the industry as a whole can focus its time and resources where they matter most and create a more transparent and efficient semiconductor supply chain.
