Koen invited Bert Schaapsmeerders, the lead architect of Portbase, to join him in his presentation. Portbase is the data broker of the port of Rotterdam. In this role, Portbase parses and transfers all communication between organizations within the port.
A while ago, BigData Republic and Portbase started their collaboration. Together, they managed to surpass all expectations with the speed and efficiency of their data science process. In just a matter of weeks, they could create and host valuable data science services. During their presentation, Koen and Bert will take you through the theory and the steps of fast tracking data science service ideas to production.

Slimmer opereren op basis van data die voorhanden is. Business Intelligence maakt het leven van heel wat organisaties een stuk eenvoudiger en overzichtelijker en is gebaat bij een goede IT-infrastructuur achter de schermen (of in de cloud).Veelgehoord is dat data het nieuwe goud is, maar strikt genomen is dat natuurlijk de informatie die BI-tools in heldere overzichten tonen. Heldere inzichten op basis van visueel aantrekkelijke rapportages of grafieken helpt bedrijven om creatiever te werken.
